Their eye- opening presentation, "Restoring Our Environment One Plant at a Time", teaches STATE OF Native Plant Discussion Series 5/6 3-4:30pm Join us and our partner, I Love Native Plants, for a presentation and community discussion on native plants! The topic for this discussion is: How do we turn biodiversity and habitat losses into gains in our Midwestern cities? Ask questions to those experienced in the field and learn about the beauty, uniqueness, and benefits of native plants! Native Plant Sale 5/13 11am-3pm Holly Lewandowski and Dave Peterson are Berwyn residents who established 'I Love Native Plants' native plants nursery in 2019 after becoming fascinated with biodiversity and native plants' amazing life cycles ten years ago. We aim to have over 100 native plant species available for sale from across the Chicago region. Contact the Clerk's office for the preorder link, and swing by the sale to pick up your order. why native plants are so important to pollinators, birds, and humans. It teaches how the community can make changes in our own yards to help the ecosystem! Shred Day 5/20 9am-12pm We will be holding a community shred event to provide our residents with the resources to properly dispose of their important documents, as well as any other paper material. There is a 4 bag/banker box limit per resident. Please do not bring any electronics, this event is for paper only.
